Relocation Provided: Job Posting End Date: Job Profile: 30017925 - Engineer VII - Process Company: Grade: Function: Technical Role: Level 7 Travel Required: Open for Referrals: Position Overview: The Director of Process Engineering leads the development, commercialization and optimization of all Processing system related CCNA projects. The selected candidate will develop Process Engineering strategy to drive growth of portfolio through process to meet emerging consumer demands. Partner with cross technical team including product development, commercialization, regulatory, quality to drive innovation on current and new platforms. The candidate will also focus on delivering manufacturing solutions and deliver process specifications to enable the key innovation projects to be launched in market. The candidate will also identify, select, authorize and/or manage relationships with vendors or suppliers to ensure proper capabilities, conformance with Company standards and appropriate products and services for research in equipment and technologies. Projects will include Thermal technology innovation, Aseptic processing/filling, ESL technology, Batch system design approvals. Also, plays an instrumental leadership role in Processing Governance. Leads and/or participates in numerous cross-functional project teams involved in commercialization. Initiatives are driven from marketing needs, economics, Infrastructure, SIP, quality, manufacturing and the environment. Works collaboratively with Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Finance, Public Affairs, CCNA and Global R&D, and suppliers to optimize Infrastructure and Commercialization value for the system. Responsible for identifying and development of relationships with external Engineering design/build firms plus negotiations on new contracts. Function Specific Activities: RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects. Present ideas and process improvement plans to senior leaders across product supply system, sales and marketing Deliver optimized processing (quality and productivity) projects Work with suppliers at senior management levels to ensure that projects are optimized and completed on schedule Develop & maintain technical Processing, Filling, batching standards for CCNA Supply Chain PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT & LEADERSHIP Provide a strong line of sight into the overall talent pipeline across all functions. Provide plant PMs with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills, aligning to the integrated planning teams VGSIM.
