Job Description The Unified Communications Engineer should be an experienced Video UC engineer adding to C1's rapidly growing UC Integration Team. The successful candidate will have extensive design and implementation experience with Video and/or Cisco telecommunications environments. Essential Functions Focuses on pre sales consulting, solution design as well as implementation of Video Unified Communication in stand-alone environment Works with our national sales force to provide best of breed Unified Communications integration solutions to our customers Delivers consulting engagements, works with distributed sales and delivery teams and a command of the collaboration technologies and other components that make up the core Video product family Works with customers to align technology to their business opportunities and needs in context of their communications platform strategy Identifies solution system interfaces, constraints, scope, cost, risks and value Documents business, information, application and technology aspects of approach Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities Required Qualifications Deep technical knowledge and also possess the communication skills and organizational agility to guide customers through complex UC integration projects. Where necessary, the candidate must also be able to perform the hands-on technical content development or solution design work on his/her own Experience with Legacy Video (Tandberg, Polycom, LS) Industry thought leadership. Known in the community C- Suite and Public speaking experience At least 7 years or related technology experience Work experience must include technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Desired/Preferred Qualifications Expert Level Consultant (CCIE or equivalent) Deep Technical Knowledge in Legacy Video (Tandberg, Polycom, LS) Multivendor focus across Cloud Platforms (Spark, Zoom, Teams, BJN) Supervisory Responsibility None Travel As Needed to support the Business (20%) Work Environment Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
