The primary roles and responsibilities of this position are to calibrate and maintain test fixtures and equipment for production testing of electronic assemblies. Job responsibilities include: resolution of production items related to production test; assist Sr. Engineers in the implementation of test plans, qualifying new test fixtures and software modules.

Required tasks will include creating documentation for testing and assembly of electronic assemblies; training production associates on production test processes; specifying/maintaining spare parts for test equipment, assisting in root cause analysis for test failures; implementation of Engineering Change Orders and improvement efforts in quality and efficiency. Additional responsibilities include providing technical direction to factory labor personnel in test fixture maintenance and identifying/qualifying test fixture vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct support of manufacturing production test including efficient resolution of down equipment

  • Specify, procure, fabricate, calibrate and maintain test fixtures and test equipment

  • Creating process documentation and training others on the proper use

  • Validating software modules for automated production testing

  • Implementation of Engineering Change Orders related to the manufacturing process

  • Misc. Duties as assigned including root cause analysis and process improvement projects

Qualification:

Candidate must be able to multitask to support multiple projects, work well in groups, focus on results, be open to new ideas, have good written and verbal communication skills, have good listening skills, and work well under pressure.

The candidate must also have good time management skills, attention to detail, good resolve, and the ability to ensure follow-up with customers and co-workers. Problem analysis and resolution skills are required.

Education: Associate's degree or 2-year technical degree with 0-2+ years in a manufacturing environment

Associate's degree or 2-year technical degree with an electronics focus
