We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Civil / Structural Engineer. In this position, a Principal Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following: The Principal Civil Structural Engineer job responsibility will be to support the fabrication and ongoing construction activities of the two AP1000 Nuclear Power Units. This support shall include scopes within the area of concrete and reinforcement design, as well as structural steel applications for the two AP1000 Nuclear Power Units under construction in USA. He/She will be focused on providing emergent AP1000 support of fabrication and design activities. He/she will be responsible for addressing technical issues related to fabrication, assembly, and construction of the Nuclear Island including the areas of Structural Modules and the Shield Building. This includes technical justification of design changes (E&DCR), answers to Request For Information (RFI) and disposition of field deviations (N&D). He/she will work closely with the site Field Engineers to resolve emergent technical issues and keep construction moving ahead in a safe and timely manner.
